Three decades in leather
STC International started in 1992 as a leather goods manufacturer in Kolkata, and that's still exactly what we are. No agencies in between and no subcontracted factories, just our own team cutting, stitching and finishing every order that leaves our doors.
Over more than 30 years we've built the kind of expertise that only comes from doing the same craft carefully, for a long time. We make ladies' handbags and men's bags (messenger bags, backpacks, briefcases and travel bags), plus a full line of small leather goods: wallets, purses, key pouches and card holders.
We're recognized as a Star Export House by the Government of India, and we're SAI 8000 audited, which means our social and quality standards hold up to outside scrutiny, not just our own word for it.
How we work
Every order runs through the same process: cutting, sample development, stitching, cleaning and checking, all under one roof at our Bantala factory.
We work with brands across a wide range of price points, which means we've learned to be precise at both ends, from premium hand-finished detail to dependable volume production.
Our goal is to be the most reliable, competent and trustworthy export partner a retailer or wholesaler can work with, whether they're placing their first order with us or their fiftieth.
Our story so far
2012
We move production into our own 120,000 sq. ft. factory in the Calcutta Leather Complex, Bantala.
Today
Over 30 years in, exporting to 6+ countries, recognized as a Star Export House by the Government of India.
